To celebrate the finishing of exams CUOC will be holding a BBQ and fun orienteering event. It will be held on Coe Fen, starting at 2pm on Thursday 19th June, with the BBQ starting at around 3:30-4pm. Details are given below.

The orienteering event will be a choice of short courses. The idea is that each course will be worth a certain number of "points" and each person will have an hour and a half to score as many points as possible. There will be prizes available for those with the highest point totals. And there will be bonus points available...(and I completely support bribery)

The courses will be: Actual Orienteering Courses: Sprint / Middle / Long. "Quirky" Courses : Orienteering by numbers / Comedy course / Alc-o style course (possibly).

I've tried to make the event flexible, and fun for everyone. So you can bring your non-orienteering friends along. There should also be a certain spectator element to it...
