The City of London Orienteering Race made for a particularly exciting start to the CUOC termcard. A handful of us travelled down to Liverpool Street by train, with the start and finish conveniently located just outside the station - if only transport to orienteering events was always that simple! The route took us past some of the capital's most iconic buildings, including the Gherkin, St Paul's, and the Barbican. Navigating around such hazards as cranes, road works and taxis, I for one didn't manage to avoid the wedding party on the steps of St Paul's. I'm sure the bride and groom will appreciate a CUOC top in their wedding photos
